Solid Brass Sconces by Horn and Brannen circa 1912 #2431
We love how odd these wall sconces are! Made by Horn and Brannen in 1912, and shown in their catalog from that year (special thanks to Robert McNutt). They have the form of mimicking a pair of oil pot sconces that hang from a chain, but the chain is actually a solid cast piece. New polish and lacquer to keep them shiny for years! These used a very difficult mounting method that is not friendly to modern junction boxes, so we added a new side mount canopy back that makes hanging these incredibly easy on a modern junction box. All new wiring on vintage sockets. Some repairs to the brass bodies were made before polishing. Here we've displayed them with out painted Mazda bulbs in gold, available on our bulbs page.
